I see no option to select the voice chat audio source in Battlefield 5, and changing the Speakers source in the Voice tab of Origin settings does affect the game. The audio is intelligible and isn't distorted. For some reason all audio in the game goes to my headphones except for voice chat, which instead plays through my speakers. Method 2: Do a quick re-installation of the IDT audio driver. ![]() If the sound is not coming from both, check if the speaker is set as a default device and not a communication device. Also, the green bars by both devices should be visible. I get that it might no longer be relevant for you, but for other people coming running into this problem, I've had the same, took me days to figure out, but now I have got a very simple solutions that works well (I've reinstalled ubuntu so had to do it all again and kinda know the drill now): When I am transmitting and speaking into the microphone, I can hear my audio slightly coming out of my speaker connected to the radio (SP-23), or headphones if used instead. The sound should come from both the speakers and headphones. ![]()
